Campaign
The ‘Act Now’ campaign is being lead by the Young FoE Climate Team- a group of 40 young people from 15 different countries from across Europe who have been selected and trained to follow theĀ European and international politics on climate change in 2009, and use this information to create actions and information for you!
As part of a Youth in Action: Youth Democracy project the team took part in a training the trainer event in Bonn, Germany in June 2009 to learn about climate change politics, and using actions and media to influence and educate other young people on this.
In October 2009 they will be busy organising actions and events including organising 4 regional conferences for in total hundreds of other young people, and in December will regroup and attend the UN climate conference in Copenhagen, as the Young Friends of the Earth Europe youth delegation.

What:
2 - 7 June
team training event in Bonn, Germany, on actions policy and media, on European and international climate politics and how to influence it.
June- December
actions and events across Europe, facilitated by YoungFoE climate team
8 - 11 October
4 regional training conferences, organised by the YoungFoE Climate Team in Sweden, Germany, Ireland and France
4- 19 December
the Young FoE Climate Team comes to Copenhagen as the Young FoE youth delegation inside the UN climate conference
